How to Set a Media File to Download in WordPress

If you are using WordPress as your content management system and want to offer a file for download to your readers, it's simple to set it up. By default, when you add a file to your media library, WordPress automatically links to it, displaying it on the page. However, if you want to make the file available for download, there are a few quick steps to follow.

Step 1: Upload Your File
